About Bostec Spray Booths and Box Ovens

Our managing director Stephen is a time-served maintenance engineer, with experience spanning over twenty years, specialising in box oven and spray booth manufacturing. Qualified to ONC Electrical Engineering, C&G Electrical Installations and C&G Electronic Servicing, he previously held roles with one of the industry leaders in product finishing. In his spare time Stephen loves motor racing and motorcycles, and does enjoy snooker, although he isn’t as good as he thinks he is.

Jacob is an early adopter, in that generation brought up using gadgets, and thriving on technology. Our expert in Solidworks 3D CAD modelling and technical drawing, he was the only BTEC candidate in his cohort to complete Level 3 Mechanical Engineering and pass with Triple Distinctions in every category. Qualified to BTEC Level 3 Mechanical Engineering, in his spare time he loves motorcycling and heading to the gym. He almost enjoys training as much as he does his food.

Involved in the box oven and spray booth industry since leaving university, Jonathan is our expert welder, fabricator and fitter, qualified with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Liverpool John Moore University. Taking a hands-on, skilled role with attention to detail, Jonathan plays a key part in our manufacturing operations to ensure quality and high standards at all times. Outside of work he enjoys motor racing, especially F1, and is training hard to look like Dwayne Johnson.

Previously working in the automotive repair industry, Phil decided to apply his craft in a different sector, the change leading him to the team at Bostec. With an eye for detail that no amount of training can give you, Phil leads our on-site and product assembly operations, playing a vital role in the transition from manufacturing to plant installation, and subsequent commissioning and maintenance. Outside of the workplace he is certainly better at fishing than anyone else in the company.

New recruit Jordan is fresh-faced and keen to learn his trade, a young and enthusiastic worker on a three year apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering. Responsible, not work shy and very reliable, he is a welcome addition to the company, learning through all key areas of our business including design, planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning. As a personality, he loves winding up Jacob, and is not as good at anything yet as he thinks he is!
